HER GRACE'S FAQ
How many performances does Musical Ruth do in a day?
A normal day is three half hour spots. That can obviously be adapted to specific requirements.
Does Musical Ruth carry Insurance?
Yes. Sister Ruth always carries a risk assessment and £10 million pounds of public liability insurance. She is also a full Equity member.
Is anyone ever 'offended' by a singing nun?
If anyone has any doubts at all about booking a singing nun then rest assured. The humour is extremely daft and does not target or ridicule any specific religion or beliefs. Just think 'Sister Act', 'Nuns On The Run', 'The Vicar Of Dibley', Sing-a-longa-Sound Of Music and countless fancy dress parties and hen weekends. Musical Ruth performs at a Christmas fete in Sussex every year for a convent school and the 'real' nuns join in the fun with no problems.
Does Musical Ruth perform at any location?
Yes. All over the U.K and Europe. Anywhere in the world if freight costs are met!! Travel costs are quoted on top of the daily fee.
What are Musical Ruth's technical requirements?
If there is a parking space for a Long Wheelbase van fairly near to the performance area, (within half a mile), then Musical Ruth can be fully self contained and can operate solely from there. If this is not possible then access to a secure changing room and a standard electricity supply are required.
Can The Amazing, Magical, Mobile piano travel on any surface?
The piano can travel on most surfaces. Roads and pavements are perfect, cobblestones and grass are usually no problem.
What are the dimensions of the piano?
The piano is 1.2 metres high. 1.3 metres wide and 2.3 metres long.
